木工職人が作るスツール。
ベーシックでありながら、独自の工夫を凝らしたものを作りたかったのです。
また、木の不完全な部分を隠さず、木が自然に呼吸できるようにひび割れはそのまま。
仕上げも一切施していません。
数学的な美学に基づいたユニークな形状を取り入れることで、木材を可能な限りナチュラルに保ちたいと考えました。

一本一本丁寧に作られ、まったく同じ形のものはひとつとしてありません。
幾何学的な形状は、丸太の元の形状によって形成されます。
珍しい多面体のスツールはインテリアに違和感なく馴染みます。
植物や雑貨を置くのもおすすめです。

The Polyhedron Stools are made of hinoki sourced from Gifu ken. Stump stools have been around for ages, they are in a sense the most simplistic stool a woodworker can make. We wanted to create something basic but with a unique twist. We also do not hide any imperfections in the wood, cracks are left alone so that the wood can breathe naturally, and there is no finish applied to it either. We want to keep the timber as natural as possible by introducing a very unique shape that is driven by an aesthetic of mathematical influence.

Each piece is individually made so that there will never be two of the exact same shape. The geometric shape is determined by the original shape of the stock.
